Collaboration with the ProBleu project (European Union)
The Eco-Yam program is part of the EU's ProBleu project, which promotes marine education and sea protection. We actively engage in citizen science and environmental research, including monitoring algae and fish, mapping local ecosystems, and collaborating with research institutions. We also run workshops on growing spirulina, making natural soaps, and cooking with seaweed to raise awareness about ocean conservation. Through ProBleu, we connect with schools across Europe, expanding our impact and creating digital kits to share our knowledge internationally. As one participant said, "Connecting with schools across Europe has opened a door for us to spread what we do abroad."
